Challenging Normies


Illustration 

Youths know what’s good for the environment. But as naturally inquisitive thinkers, they are
always full of thoughts. They want to do things beyond the normal way. Whether it’s seeing
the potential in recycling medical blister packs or running a reusable loan start-up, the YES
Leaders Programme supports youths in driving their own cause for sustainability. Because
that’s how sustainability innovations and trends begin.

A Quiet Revolution, AKAR

A branding and fashion project that redefine Malay's cultural identity, where future
generations stand tall and free from misconceptions. Amidst the negative connotations of
being Malay in Singapore, fashion serves as a medium of advocation for change, rewriting
the narrative, and reshaping perceptions of the Malay community through unity
and empowerment.

The misjudgement of consumer interests has resulted in Birds of Paradise's current vision
notomplementing its branding and initiatives in giving back to their community. By
collaboratin with NParks to make their service accessible, the brand aims to enhance
familiarity by curating a memorable and meaningful dining experiences for young working
adults seeking socialization. This initiative aspires to establish Birds of Paradise as a staple
dessert choice in Singapore.
